2. COSMETIC DENTISTRY

TOOTH COLOURED COMPOSITE FILLINGS
Highly aesthetic metal-free restorations.

PORCELAIN VENEERS
Wafer thin shells of porcelain that are bonded to the front of teeth to improve your smile! It can make dark teeth look lighter and healthier, yellow teeth whiter and crooked teeth look straight in just a few days.

PORCELAIN CROWNS
Laboratory-made “dental cap”, where the full thickness of the crown is made up of porcelain or dental ceramic. Different from other types, these crowns possess a translucency that gives them a natural appearance and makes them cosmetically the most pleasing.

TOOTH WHITENING
Bleaching agent is applied to the teeth that penetrates the enamel and breaks down stains caused by food, drinks and smoking. The result is whiter teeth that lasts for several months! Systems available are “BriteSmile” in-office tooth whitening system and home-bleaching kits(“Nitewhite” and “Daywhite”)

3. PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY

PROFESSIONAL CLEANING – SCALE AND POLISH
To clear the teeth of tartar build-up and accumulated plaque in hard-to-reach areas. Treatment recommended on a 6-monthly basis and carried out by one of our qualified Oral Hygienists.

FLUORIDE TREATMENT
A liquid or gel applied to the teeth by the Oral Hygienist after the scale and polish. Fluoride is a mineral that helps prevent tooth decay by making the tooth more resistant to acid-attacks from plaque bacteria and sugars in the mouth. It can also reverse early decay and in children under 6 years it gets incorporated into the developing permanent teeth.

FISSURE SEALANTS
a tooth-coloured material is applied to the biting surface of a tooth, covering the pits and fissures that are susceptible to decay. Sealants are indicated for children and adults who are at moderate to high risk of developing dental caries or have incipient caries in pits and fissures.

HOME CARE
Instructions in proper oral hygiene and the use of recommended products.

5. ROOT CANAL THERAPY

Treatment for the pulp of a tooth to eliminate infection and protect the tooth against future infection. The procedure involves removing the tissues(blood vessel and nerve) from the nerve canal and subsequently cleaning, shaping and filling these canals. The treatment could be completed in one or multiple visits.

6. DENTAL IMPLANTS

A dental prosthesis inserted into the jaw bone to support the crown, bridge or denture that replace the missing tooth/teeth. The process involves surgical placement of the root-shaped implant (done here or referred to a specialist periodontal surgeon) and then the fitting of a crown, bridge or denture.


7. SPORTS DENTISTRY

MOUTH GUARDS
A custom-made protective shield that covers the teeth and acts as a shock-absorber in the case of impact.

8. TOOTH WHITENING

BRIGHTSMILE
In-office tooth whitening system. A 2-hour procedure where the bleaching-agent is applied to the teeth and a light used to accelerate the bleaching process.

HOME BLEACING KITS (“Nitewhite” and “Daywhite”)
The bleaching agent is deposited into a comfortable custom-made mouth-tray and worn during the day or night for 10 days.

9. DENTURES

FULL DENTURES
Acrylic prosthetic devices that replace all the upper and lower teeth and supported by oral tissues alone or with the help of implants.

PARTIAL DENTURES
Acrylic prosthetic devices that replace some missing teeth and supported by oral tissues and remaining teeth.

CHROME COBALT PARTIAL DENTURES
Metal-strengthened prosthetic device that replace missing teeth and supported by oral tissues and remaining teeth.

FLEXITE
Monomer-free plastic prosthetic device to replace some or all missing teeth.
